John W. Hall , North Harwich 4th Generation Cranberry Grower

John W, a 4th Generation grower, owned and managed cranberry bogs in North Harwich, a region known for its Cape Cod cranberries. Together with his father, Emulous E. Hall, they made significant contributions to the rich legacy of North Harwich cranberry growers.

John E. 1917- 2006 and wife Eleanor R. Hall

John E., a 5th generation North Harwich cranberry grower, and his wife Eleanor owned and managed over 100 acres of Cape Cod cranberry bogs on Cape Cod and in Middleboro during their time in the cranberry industry, where they played a vital role in the local Cranberry Industry.

Arthur, a 6th generation North Harwich cranberry grower, and his wife Carolyn managed 35 acres dedicated to Cape Cod cranberries, including their Cranberry Bogs in Brewster, Harwich, and Dennis, MA.

Alan 7th and his wife Maura, along with their sons Benjamin, 8th and Nicholas 8th, are currently operating 7 acres of Cape Cod cranberries in North Harwich. As a dedicated North Harwich cranberry grower, they actively participate in various cranberry events, including the popular Cranberry Festival, and frequently receive positive reviews from visitors about their delicious cranberries.

Harwich Cranberry Festival

Join us for the Cranberry Festival on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20, 2026, where you can explore a variety of Cape Cod cranberries at our cranberry exhibit in the gym. Located at 100 Oak Street, Harwich, MA 02645, this event promises to showcase exciting cranberry events and feature insights from a North Harwich cranberry grower, along with thoughtful cranberry reviews.

Event Name

Join us at the Harwich Farmers Market all summer every Thursday at the 204 Sission Road Cultural Center. From 3pm to 6pm, you can find fresh produce, including Cape Cod cranberries from our local North Harwich cranberry grower, alongside other delights leading up to the Cranberry Festival.
